Some very helpful explanations. How do I cut out a section? Also, there does not appear to be any way to control the loudness of a section that is way too quiet (obviously not the playback volume which affects the entire song). Thanks.

I'm 70 years old, so this is a technical challenge for me. All of my adult life, I have been hearing music in my head, especially when I am high. It is SO BEAUTIFUL that it makes me actually cry! But, to my everlasting frustration, I have NO musical skills. I had to WORK all of my life, so I never had time to learn any music. Now, I am retired, so I have time to try to express my Soul with Music. I just hope I live long enough to bring the music that I hear in my head out for the World to hear. With Udio, I truly hope that my Musical Frustration can be relieved. I can't Wait to begin!

I've made 20 songs. This is wild.
A big short fall is intros and endings that you can add on to the song. This would be best if you could cut and paste them to your AI song. Also a way to put together and edit the song before adding words and singers. A thesaurus and song dictionary might help people write better songs. A drum fill editor and a way to speed up and slow down the song. Guitar editor for adding solos.

Thanks, great video! We have used Udio to make some fun tracks. Also have seem some people doing amazing cover versions. We have tried as well, but without any success. I presume that it's only possible with public domain lyrics, but could not create any with PD lyrics either. We tried prompts like 'cover of ........' etc. Did Udio change something in 1.5?
Very cool, but the song it generated sounds a LOT like “Lullaby” by The Cure to my ears…that makes me wonder about possible Copyright issues…
As someone who's new getting into music. This is great. I'm no singer not yet anyway. And I'm only new to playing instruments. But I still love writing songs. I don't use ai to write the songs. I prefer to make it more personal and meaningful, writing it on my own. But to hear my song is amazing.
